I didn’t grow up believing. In fact, I was committed to not believing… even mocking those who did. But then everything changed. A real encounter with the presence of God shifted my life in a moment. And even after that, I still had so much to learn. I didn’t understand how the Holy Spirit worked. I tried, I fumbled, I got it wrong more than once.
But God wasn’t looking for perfection.
He was responding to hunger. And in His mercy, He met me again. He filled me. He marked me. He changed me. God is not intimidated by where you’re starting.
He responds to a heart that’s willing.
