During World War Two, Germany sent secret messages using the Enigma machine, messages so complex they were nearly impossible to read.

In this clip, Erica Munro, Head of Content, reveals an original Enigma message from the archives, offering a rare glimpse into the coded communications of the war.

At Bletchley Park, codebreakers worked tirelessly to decode and interpret these messages, turning secrets into intelligence that helped save lives and change the course of World War Two.

Today you can visit Bletchley Park, explore the restored huts, see the machines, and learn about the people whose brilliance and determination made it all possible.
