Welcome to my encaustic art studio in West Virginia. Come along as I turn a sketch into a large encaustic mixed media painting. Starting with a watercolor underpainting, then painting with wax and a torch, a quick image transfer, and adding in details with oil stick this sketch develops into a painting.
