Shapedown BC is a family-centred healthy living program for children 6-17 years old living with overweight/obesity. The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a rapid change in program delivery from in-person to virtual groups. Though initially intended as a short-term solution to support continuity of care, the success of the virtual program has prompted development of virtual-specific care teams. In this presentation, we will outline the process of creating a new virtual programming curriculum, with focus on the challenges and opportunities of online group delivery.
