Three open layers: a computer you build, Omarchy on top, and Grid tying the machines together. This one went from OS install to serving Qwen in one hour.
1. Build the computer. The 2x, 4x and 8x GPU builds are open sourced: bill of materials, housing files in STL and STEP, assembly guide, plus BIOS, drivers and GPU testing. The same design fits RTX 3090, 4090, 5090 and PRO 6000.
2. Install Omarchy. Arch, Hyprland, keyboard first, Claude and Codex built in. It is DHH's distro, not ours.
3. Launch Grid. It pools your machines into one OpenAI-compatible endpoint and works with Ollama, vLLM, LM Studio, llama.cpp and ComfyUI. Runs on macOS with Apple Silicon and on Linux with NVIDIA GPUs. The core is MIT licensed and there is no token bill.
