The Indo-Pacific has emerged as a strategic focal point in contemporary geopolitics, encompassing vital maritime trade routes, contested territorial claims, and a dynamic balance of power.

This seminar explores how the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) is shaping the regional order through strategic cooperation, shared democratic values, and joint initiatives in areas such as infrastructure, technology, and climate resilience.

The second in the South Asia Seminar Series, it represents the inaugural collaboration between AIIA Victoria and The Geostrata, an Indian organisation that seeks to increase youth engagement with topical issues from across India and the world. With a network of 400+ members worldwide, this vibrant intellectual policy hub drives meaningful conversations on world affairs, international security, climate change, sustainable development, digital innovation, and beyond.

Recently, The Geostrata entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with AIIA Victoria. This partnership is grounded in shared goals: to enrich global dialogue on international relations through joint initiatives, mutual knowledge exchange, and collaborative events.

We will examine the Quad's role in defining regional alliances, managing rising tensions, and promoting a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific. Our experts will discuss supply chain resilience, critical minerals, and India's security relationships with the Quad partners.

AIIA Victoria invites you to hear from experts delivering unique Australian and Indian perspectives on how strategic partnerships such as the Quad are transforming the Indo-Pacific from a geographic expanse into a cohesive and influential political space.
