We interviewed the three UM students—Julian, Giancarlo and Enrico—who formed part of Malta’s U18 national water polo team that made history this year, placing in the top 10 at the European Junior Championships for the first time ever.

They showed extraordinary discipline, resilience, and talent, representing Malta with pride while navigating a major life transition.
