From Garbage to Gold - Making Pure Beeswax on a Larger Scale
Beeswax is such a amazing, beautiful and valuable product that the bees work hard to create. It can be difficult, messy and frustrating to process. I have tried several methods including crock pots, a solar wax melter and even a heating lamp to process and clean beeswax in the past. I am obsessed with perfectly clean wax which complicates the process. Now that I have larger amounts of beeswax I decided to purchase a new 25 gallon wax melter from Thorne MFG. In this video I show the entire process start to finish. There was definitely a learning curve but we ended up with some beautiful blocks of perfectly clean wax.
