Austin Eskew is pursuing his Master of Social Work at the University of North Dakota, but his path here was anything but traditional.
As a combat medic, Austin knew he wanted to help people. But over time, the weight of holding someone's life in your hands became more than he wanted to carry long term. Social work offered him a new way forward, a chance to keep helping people in a meaningful, sustainable way.
Now building toward becoming a therapist, Austin brings every skill, every experience, and every lesson from his life into this next chapter.
