Jack Zhang, co-founder and CEO of Airwallex, moved to Australia at 15 speaking no English and with no money. He worked 16-hour days on lemon farms, in petrol stations and bartending just to pay his tuition.

Fast-forward to 2018, when Stripe offered $1.2 billion to acquire his fintech company. Jack turned it down. Today, Airwallex is valued at $8 billion.
