One of my favorite parts about touring is discovering places I'd never find otherwise. Welcome to Episode 2 of Chefs Like This! This stop takes us to Manchester, England where I sat down at Australasia for a dining experience that blended incredible flavors, beautiful presentation, and an atmosphere that speaks for itself.

Australasia was founded in 2011 by actor/entrepreneur Tim Bacon, who sadly passed away in 2016. The vision of bringing the inspiration of Australia's diverse cuisine to the UK was carried on by restauranteur Christian Coates. Lead by Executive Chef Lucie Sainerova and Head Chef Exose Grant, the legacy of Australasia lives on.

Here is what we tried on this episode:

-- Started with: Chicken Karaage, Crispy Tonkatsu Oysters, Steamed Edamame with Sesame Glaze, and Padrón Peppers with Chili Crunch
-- And for our main entrees: Grilled Sea Bass, Madagascan Tiger Prawns, Australian Wagyu Sirloin, and Crispy Lamb Milk Bread with Harissa Yogurt.
-- We also tried the Salt & Pepper Prawn Toast, Drunken Noodles, Slow-cooked Sharp Rib with Chimichurri, and Baby Aubergine with Miso Glaze.
