I've been using Apogee sound cards for years -- started with the Quartet and moved to the Duet because I didn't need all the power of the Quartet. I love their audio converters, the sound is really amazing. Recently I've been annoyed with the accompanying software when I tried to test a Live-streaming set up and wanted multiple "virtual" cables. I tried Rogue Amoeba, but that wasn't cutting it. I am hoping that by switching to the UAD Apollo Twin, I will have better functionality with internal cabling. I also hear that the Apollo Twin MKII has a cleaner sound than that of the Apogee Duet which is a bit colored. The UAD sounds great, can't wait to use it more!
