From an Indigenous perspective, what is the lasting impact of Spanish colonization here in Arizona? @ArizonaPBS

The Spanish arrival in the Southwest wasn't peaceful. There were battles over land, water, and power that forever changed Indigenous communities. Yet history is layered. With conflict came lasting influences: wheat cultivation, adobe architecture, and Christianity, traditions that are still visible across Arizona today. Like most history, the short answer is, "it's complicated."
