In this video, I’m taking a deep dive into my World of Warcraft Retail account to revisit the characters that define my history in Azeroth. Most of these heroes were born between 2004 and 2008, and seeing them again brings back so many memories of the original era.
In this video, I showcase:
The Legacy Characters: I look at my Male Gnome Warlock, once level 42 in the old days, now squished down to level 24, and my Blonde Human Female Paladin, who was level 49 back in 04–08 but is now level 22.
The Main Attraction: My Night Elf Female Druid. She was my pride at level 58 in the original era. After being nerfed to level 22, I decided to use a service to bring her back to her glory at Level 60.
The New Addition: My level 18 Blood Elf Female Demon Hunter from 2025, which I used to experience the Legion expansion for the first time last year.
I am speaking throughout the entire video, comparing the game as it was in 2004 to how it looks today in 2026. Join me for this nostalgic walkthrough!
