The North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee has announced the formation of the North Texas Sports Foundation and its first fundraiser as the region prepares to host FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and futbol fans.
The Texan Golden Boot will stand in the City of Arlington’s entertainment district. Surrounding it will be bricks bought by North Texas families, organizations and businesses to create a lasting legacy.
The foundation will invest back into the community, including creating access to youth sports, public play spaces and ensuring access for everyone to future sporting events.
