He attended the tournament to document the battle of the five kings, hoping to add the story to his new and growing historical library. He may be biased towards some of the notes he made, fiercely insulting all the kings but his own. He often consults his pet skull on how to go about problems he has, not because the skull can talk, but because he's crazy. This is why you don't eat weird mushrooms you find on the road.
