It has been quite a while since I made a railfan video in this area, considering the fact I only live around 25 miles away from this area. (O_O Not telling, now shush!) This was only an 18 car freight train which really surprised me since most freights in the area are a bit longer. It was a 3 loco latch up with NECR EMD SD40-2 loco 721 leading, along with NECR EMD SD40M-2 loco 3476, and NECR EMD SD40-2 loco 3478 trailing behind.
I also had another big surprise. As I was waving to the engineer's, one came out of the cab to put some bags on the front rail of the loco not sure why didn't notice me...but the other engineer in the cab noticed me and blew the horn twice at me to say hi back. That was a great way to start off the day.
