In Rockne, Texas, Meuth’s Place has become a local staple.

What started with a simple idea - serve great fried chicken - has grown into a gathering place for the community and visitors from across Central Texas.

Open just two days a week, it draws crowds for fried chicken, Friday fish fries and homemade desserts. But it’s the sense of connection that keeps people coming back.

Serving Texans highlights the local businesses, places and people that help shape the communities we serve.
