Frame counted to 3:04.433 from pressing start to Jason's death. Performed live on Twitch, using an original NES and controller.
UPDATE: With a heavily improved A route (and also a ton easier!) the record is currently 2:53 by PHGuitarGuy. It's a very clean run and I would recommend watching it. I will be back to grind WR soon! (update2: PB is 2:54 now)
Very solid run. Day 1 went well besides 1s to a bad knife spawn. 2s lost on day 2 to bad Jason luck. He almost never runs away like that with the pattern he had given me (plus not optimal pattern for 1st fight on day 2). Day 3 was about perfect besides me selecting Laura a bit slow. But overall, this is a great run and I'm happy with the execution.
This time is excellent and I'm very proud of it. The luck factor in this game is insane.
