This weekend's challenge:
"Today is Friday the Thirteenth. Unlucky for some? Also the name of an extremely successful slasher / horror movie from 1980. This weekend’s challenge is to make a jam that would fit into a film of this type in that era. Scary? Shocking? Tense? Nervous? Making us jump? Shocking? Mysterious? Don’t forget, the film in question was made in 1980 so bonus kudos for any 80s sounds you can squeeze in! Time to make us hide behind a sofa that is adorned with geometric patterns and bold colours!"
What we did:
For this challenge, I needed a little help, so I put my grandson Sam (age 6) to work on my theremin and Moog One. I filled in with the Moog Grandmother on bass and leads on the Moog Matriarch. Bells at the beginning were done with a Cherry Audio Atomika. The beating heart was done on the Arturia Drumbrute.
