Tricky and Whitty are created by the same group of people, but Tricky is a failed and discarted prototype, still alive and suffering through decomposition little by little while lost on the unknown by the creators.
(That's our interpretation on his 2 songs with the red sentences saying things like "Failure", "Incomplete" and etc)
While Whitty is the "Successful" Herald of theirs, but he refuses his purpose, and flees staying into hiding from them at all times,
until Tricky discovers Whitty and is infuriated by the thought of being replaced like that, and wants to kill him to prove superiority.
Even though Whitty is infuriated that he isn't the only one going through hell thanks to these people chasing him,
and is tired of running away from his problems, taking all of their frustrations and more in this fight!
