This review is a French military ration designed for 8 to 12 hours for training purposes that do not warrant a compete 24 hours worth of food, or the RCIR. It does provide a balanced meal but I was surprised it did not come with a beveridge of some type. Just as well as I had a nice beer with it and it seemed to compliment it quite well if I don't say so myself.
