Prosecutors allege Nègre slipped diuretics into women’s drinks during what they thought were job interviews at the Ministry of Culture, before taking them on long walks far from toilets. Police say Nègre kept a spreadsheet documenting his attacks which he labelled ‘experiments’.

But more than eight years after he was first placed under investigation, no trial date has been set.
