Carol's a good deal different in this one. She can throw a jump pad that deals damage and tracks nearby enemies, and if you hold the button or press it again in short order, she will jump to the pad's current location. In addition, it appears that the motorcycle no longer disappears after a couple of hits, but if you use the jump pad, she throws the bike instead (and you don't get it back). Does seem to do more damage, though.
Correction: Apparently you can get the bike back, as comments indicated below: just use guard instead of special to jump to the bike. Handy!
