I know a lot of people were like "I want to do something for April fools but it just doesn't seem right to on Easter Sunday", which I totally get because today is one of the most serious days of the year and is important to so many people. But my youth pastor told us to think about it like this-
The joke is on the world because Jesus is risen and they though he was dead :)
Orignially I was going to do something else for April fools, but I figured Watson was enough to balance out being stupid/silly with the true meaning of Easter. I might use that idea next year though...
Idk what compelled me to make this song into a music video. We listened to it in church this morning and have been for the past couple of weeks, and it just started going through my head after Easter lunch so I grabbed my camera and Kathryn and just went outside and started filming. It was probably a good thing, actually. I've needed a break to just be myself after this past week. Spring break sounds fun and all, but the entire week was me screaming about how solo and ensemble got cancelled as well as youth orchestra practice and about how mad I was that Gwen dumped Trent on TDA and how I'd ruined the entire series for myself. Oh and I tried to film/finish episode 3 of Dear Darkness but I just didn't have the motivation to so that was stressing me out :/ Idk how many sleepless nights I've had this past week (granted one of them was because Watson threw up all over my bed and I didn't have a heavy blanket and it was freezing owoAh), but it just wasn't healthy, in complete honesty, and it didn't really occur to me how much this was affecting me until one of my friends brought it up on Instagram *she's the same person that gave me Kathryn's sacred bandana and she's an amazing person and yes*. So... that's a thing...
Anyways, hopefully you guys enjoyed this. I personally am in love with the way it turned out, tbh :)
