Perhaps I should have titled this Version II Scenes from a memoir.. The first rendition is a little over a year ago and this one is probably even more haunting.. Both versions have been one of "those moment" things, I always wanted to have this song with the acoustic guitar.

So the bow, I was gifted a 2 string Erhu, a Chinese instrument. Apparently the hair is authentic mongolian horse hair. The bow itself is quite exotic.. I have never played any instrument with a bow or used one, though I have always dreamt of it. I am not sure why I never took that plunge. It's movement seemed and felt very natural, whether that translates to a violin, viola or cello? I do not know.. I do think I put way to much rosin on it, hence the big white spot on the guitar strings..
