With "Repeller", you can automatically repel or attract layers with a separate "Repeller" layer. Set the radius, falloff, and force, to push layers away on any axis. It's a 3D effect, so you can apply it your 3D layers, and customize it with easy controls. Use negative values to attract layers to the repeller, or to create other interesting behaviors when the repeller approaches layers.
This repel effect was developed for "Network", an Adobe After Effects template that lets you create complex animations of dots and connecting lines. With the different methods of animating the dots (repel being one of them), you can create particle animations, audio visualizers, network visualizations, and tech-themed background animations.
