This is another freely improvised take I did yesterday.
Because improvisations are composed in real time during recording, they are always less polished than composed/arranged pieces; however, there are many musical and artistic benefits to improvisation. It was an important aspect of classical music training until relatively recently, and I think it's unfortunate that it's not still done today. One of my aims for this channel is to show its musical merits, as well as to document my own playing. I hope you enjoy listening!
Please comment with suggestions of popular themes for me to improvise on. These can be anything, Disney songs, pop songs, folk tunes, anything!

About me: I am currently a doctoral piano performance student based in Colorado. I did my undergraduate and master's degrees at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I have played the piano for seventeen years, and I have always had a passion for improvisation.
