FREE GUY: Ryan Reynolds' Next Level of Comedy || After hesitating to watch the 2021 movie upon learning its setting, my reaction to Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy was that it served as a refreshing answer to mainstream nihilism, as well as provided a rather fluid commentary on societal roles thanks to the main characters being NPCs in a video game. And its with keeping this analysis in mind -- including how minimal the Star Wars reference is, along with Chris Evans and his Captain America shield -- that I feel comfortable with providing a proper review!
