Latest slippi update that dropped a couple hours ago adds a new "Party Melee" mode which is essentially a 5 minute free for all with 4 players. This is a brand new addition which imo extends melee's accessibility as people less skilled (like me) can actually play the game without getting instantly deeeestroyed lmao.
Every other bit of comp remains in the game, so having something for the casuals is a welcomed change.
