Coconino Rim Road Review - Free Camping In the Grand Canyon
Here is an awesome 14 day free stay camp site literally a mile from the Grand Canyon. Just take coconino rim road while driving down the desert view road and it will take you out of GCNP and into Khabib National Forest. All of the sites are nice and spread out. They all seem to have fire rings. Our ATT and Verizon both got signals. There is a pit toilet up by the watch tower and trail information kiosk.
