Every so often I make these tyler style synth ballad type beats... and often I build around a sample and try to make it as bubbly as possible. very light synths, light drums, muffled bass, etc. This one I wanted the sound to be a bit darker... so i ended up using some heavier drums and bass, and really leaned into the dark vibe on the beat switch.
