AllOffroad 4x4 | Fraser Island 2020 BY 4X4 | Part 3 | THE STORM & PARADISE | Why I got rid of my Foxwing awning @AlloffroadAu | Uploaded April 2020 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
In Part 3 of our epic Fraser Island 4wd Adventure I encounter the first Police stop and a breathalyser test, we have a chat with the rangers about the Dingo attack on Scott. We endure a pretty good thunderstorm which leaves me wet on an empty air mattress and probably was one of my worst nights. We then make our way towards the Fraser West Coast again planing for Awinya via Lake Allom and the Freshwater turtles who inhabit the lake. As the tides where not in our favour, we diverted to Worali Creek which was new to me and is now my new most favourite camping spot on the West Coast. I explain why I don't like my Foxwing Awning and what I will replace it with. We also explorer Bowarrady Creek and then make our way towards Kingfisher Bay Resort but need to make some detours due to fallen trees and road closures.
