Frankenstein is trying to make a movie about his nice peaceful farm. Unfortunately things go badly-- a bull assaults a cow, the tractor goes out of control, his lazy farmhand upstages him, the farm gets repossessed and ultimately burns down. Poor Frankenstein.
Storywise, this film is a mess, I know. I kind of had a rough idea for it when I started, but then got lazy while doing the animation, and didn't really feel like doing the rest of it, so I just wrapped it up quickly. This is my third stop-motion cartoon, and although I remembered it being a fun process from the previous two, the actual animation got fairly tedious this time. I suppose that's sort of expected with this kind of animation, though. I think this film is kind of funny, but on animation-wise, it's not really any better than Veronica's Birthday Party from over two years ago, which is a little pathetic. :P I guess I was a little rusty at stop-motion. I got the idea to do it when my sister and I bought this monster action figure set, and saw a bunch of plastic sheep near them. We didn't get the sheep, but we both thought it would be funny to make a diorama featuring monsters running a farm. Then I thought "hey, I'll make it a cartoon." I did all the animation and set-building on Sep. 13, and finished editing today (the 18th). I didn't work on it every day in between though.
