With a week to go before Halloween 1999, American Movie Classics ramped up its Monsterfest programming with a different monster movie each night in prime time. On October 26th, 1999, AMC's "Hollywood Real to Reel" block, which consisted of a documentary and a related feature film, was taken over by "Attack of the 50 Ft. Monster Mania" and "Frankenstein Conquers the World." Roger Corman hosted both programs, and although he definitely read "his" comments from a teleprompter, he seems to have enjoyed himself! Unfortunately, Corman's post-movie remarks are cut short on my tape, but you can see the rest on The KOOKSTER'S Vault, linked below.

Originally recorded October 26, 1999 at 10 pm EDT on EP-mode VHS; transferred in 2025 over S-video from a Mitsubishi HS-U746 VCR to DVD-R on Panasonic DMR-ES15. My previous upload of this video came from a DVD that had encoded the video at 352x240 resolution, so this is a fairly significant upgrade in video quality.
