Francisco Treviño has served the greater Tulsa area since the 1980s, from translating to event planning, founding and leading several Hispanic-serving organizations, and as an advisor through Vega and Treviño Consulting.
The Oklahoma Historical Society Multicultural Office (OHSMO) promotes programs and outreach initiatives that enhance historical and cultural awareness for all Oklahomans.
The OHSMO also holds several in-person events that include authentic traditions celebrated by the respective communities so that these cultures can be shared, appreciated, and experienced, including a series of video interviews titled “People of Oklahoma” to create a historical record of the voices of community leaders from many backgrounds. Stories of resiliency, hope, tenacity, and innovation are being added to the expansive library of live interviews, video documentaries, and oral histories in the OHS archives.
