Five years ago today I received the call that there was no cancer remaining after my double mastectomy surgery. Before starting treatment, my oncologist had given me a 20% chance that my chemo treatments would completely eradicate the *visible* lump of cancer in my right breast. Only by the grace of God was I completely healed!! They say five years is a big milestone and the chances of recurrence are much less from now on. All I know is that I am grateful to be here and can only trust in God's plan for the years to come.
