If you're doing your own RV hauler build, here's what's actually involved when you send the driveline work and frame extension to a specialty shop. We're at Driveline Specialties in Calgary watching them remove and relocate an axle, extend the frame, and build custom drive shafts and steady bearings to reach the relocated axle.
First step: cutting Huck bolts — press-fitted, rivet-strength bolts with rounded heads that can't be removed with an impact gun. Has to be the gas axe.
