Locked in and ready, prepared to break a record.

That's how Robin Gemperle approached the mighty task of racing The Tour Divide. With a warm up (and a podium) at Unbound XL the week prior, the scene was set for an undertaking of epic proportions.

But what come before? What did it take to prepare for a challenge as monumental as the one Robin set out to do this Tour Divide? How many hours and pedal strokes were needed to make sure all the pieces came together on D-day.
