This is my brother who has tested the capability of RF equipment with his EasyStar.
On this video the maximum range is 2.5 Km / 1.55 miles.

- SUCCESSFUL 27/04/2009 - Reduced bandwidth at IF (intermediate frequency) in the receivers (Two 17 MHz wide 480MHz centered SAW filter).
- Before this summer - Two narrowband 20MHz band-pass cavity filters.
- This summer - Two industrial high gain LNA (low noise preamplifier).
