FoxiFyer chose to end his life at the end of 2024. He was an amazing musician and a very talented artist. He left us far too soon, and I can only hope that people will keep him alive by enjoying the work he's left behind for many more years. He had such an incredible voice and I regret not getting to work with him more when we had the chance - I featured on his wonderful metal opera Messiah in 2020, and he appeared as The Migrant on my The Day the Night Slept the same year.

I absolutely fell in love with this song when he released it last year, and I asked him for an instrumental version to do a vocal cover of it. It had been lying half finished for a while when I heard of his death, and so I revived it into this duet, with the instrumental he gave me spliced with parts of the original version. It's an imperfect way of recording a song, but this way I can duet with him one last time.
