a pi-licious surprise

We calculate a fun alternating sum by using Fourier sine series. For this we compute the Fourier coefficients of the function x by using orthogonality. Moreover, as an application, we can finally solve the heat equation that has been bugging us for so long. This is an important tool for separation of variables and partial differential equations, enjoy!
