Four women and a man have been left in hospital after a crash in Fife shut down a road for six hours.

Emergency services were called to Cupar Road in Kettlebridge at around 6.30am on Sunday.

The road was closed for just under six hours before being reopened at around 12.25pm.

Four women, aged 20, 24, 37 and 40, and a man, aged 37, were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
