Holidays can be frustrating for some of us working towards reducing clutter and becoming minimalist. However, gift-giving is a love language and I do not want to rob my family members of that joy. So when talking with them about what we would appreciate, we tell them we prefer quality over quantity, needs over wants, experiences over products, and provide gift wish-lists whenever possible.
