Posted this as a WIP a couple of times over on Twitter. You have Ren to thank for pushing me to finish this and make some use of it. Anyway a short (very short) promo type of thing for Scion. I was originally going to have a lot more secrets hidden in here but in order to keep it simple I opted to drop a few out as it was going to start looking really busy. There did remain a pretty strong call back however to two other animations on my channel. I'll be very interested to see if anyone can pin point or find anything.
In all honesty a lot of this is just testing and experimenting on my end to see what I can possibly do. Anyway hope you guys enjoy!

Finally done! Now I can get back to playing Sun and Moon!
Wow this has been a long time coming! I originally planned to make this a very very action driven part and I think that it turned out pretty nice for the amount of time it took. Im not normally someone who animates fight scenes anyway so this part presented a lot of interesting hurdles.
Unfortunately due to this I did have to make some sacrifices in terms of details, most prominent of which being Metificuss (Maples Houndooms) fire mane and tail tip. I tested it out in several places trying to find where I could maybe slip it in but it was either way to distracting or really messing with the lighting, which admittedly is already pretty harsh.

In tragedy there will always be people left behind, its up to themselves to find a way to become survivors of the loss or give up along the way. With any luck they become stronger, try to start something new, and change for the better. Also a good lesson here, dont mess with Atiras hair.
I know the panning isnt the greatest in this part, Im not going to lie I kind of sped through my editing a bit but its done! Its finally done! My part is done and Im free! I am so sorry for needing so many extensions on this parts due date! I hope it was worth the wait. ^^
Super proud of this though as theres only one snippet of animation that I had to reference, everything else was free hand. Plus all the way I had computer issues once I downloaded windows ten, for those of you on my DA youll know that at one point I lost a ton of animation and most of the backgrounds seen in the MAP because of a corrupted file. This part was definetely a journey, but Im really really happy with the result even though it took forever. Now if you excuse me Im going to go sleep for a month.

I know what your thinking and yes, by god its a decent animation! And not just any decent animation, its Blind, Sunny, and Ivy (someone elses character.). I hope its ok that I used Warriors OCs but none of my other OCs fit this quiet as well as Blindstar. Somehow I doubt anyone outside of TDC actually knows who they are. XD But Ive been wanting to animate so so bad recently that I decided to sign up for a MAP (Multi-Animator Project) and I am so proud of this now that Im done. Theres only a couple of places were theres actually no animation. And I actually made my own transition! ^^ Im so happy with this! Especailly since it only took me around three and a half days to make. :) Anyway a couple of side things. Firstly; Blindstar, the brown cat with the purple markings and gold paws, is in fact blind. I did not screw up her eyes, shes blind as a mole. And yes she is leader of her clan. The explanation is way to long so just guess. Second; Sunkit, the pale tabby brown kit seen jumping in the first two or three seconds, is Blindstars kit. No she is not blind, she simply has no visible pupils in her eyes. It is a genetic defect passed down from Blindstar. Because of this the cones in her eyes dont work properly so she actually goes blind at night but other then that shes fine.
Ok the story behind this is; Blindstars clan had a devastating storm which wiped out over half of her clan. Fearful that her clan wouldnt survive the rest of leaf-bare without new blood in the clan, Blindstar decided she would do what ever it took to do that if it meant saving her clan. After catching wind of her clan her deputy (The orange cat with the word love on him at the end.) tried to stop her form leaving the territory. However Blindstar eventually escaped him and went off to find a rogue friend of hers whod left the clan some odd years before. Unable to convince her friend to return to the clan Blindstar spent the night with him, and her helped guide her back to her territory. Some odd weeks later to her surprise Blindstar discovered she was going to have kits. The deputy Copperwing caught wind of this and said she lied to him and betrayed him. With that walked away Blindstars chance at love. Once her clan discovered her kit the ranks began to murmur and loose trust in her judgement. Since it was obviously no time to be having kits. With that Blindstar lost her clans trust in her judgment. Finally when Blindstar had Sunkit the clan figured out that Sunkit was only half clan. With that the cats who had already doubted her loyalty spread the word. And with that most of her clans loyalty to her left. The only thing Blindstar has left at this point is Sunkit and Ivystep who keep her going in her clan. The end.")

A speedpaint of Saoirse, one of the main characters that will be appearing in my upcoming animated series Scion. Though she wont be appearing till the second short, I figured she needed some more attention since Merlin tends to steal the show a bit from time-to-time.
Side note I apologize for the odd editing/timing of the speedpaint itself. Ive been having an issue with photoshop for awhile where the screen rapidly flickers black when Im working with the pen or lasso tools. Id like to apologize for the flashing, I did my best to edit as much of it out as possible but some areas couldnt be salvaged. Im in the process of fixing the problem though so hopefully this will be the only one that has this issue.

The characters you have deep bonds with can say a lot about someone. So that brings the question: what does a transgender cat, a very sensitive eight year old, and a five year old with world domination in mind say about me? And should I be concerned...
In all serious I found this part surprisingly ironic. Out of all the parts I asked for, this was the one I actually least wanted but turned out to be the one with lyrics that most fit myself and my relationship with these three characters. Ive always had insanely strong bonds with my characters regardless but these three rise almost to fursona level bond with me. Which is surprising considering one is a role-play where and the other two I made on a whim. Mini and Dagann are rarely drawn without me floating around somewhere and Merlin, well Merlin actually has a lot of behavior patterns similar to me that I swear I had no idea was in there until woman/Ren pointed it out to me. Somewhere between making Mer and role-playing him however this character won a particular slot with me Im not sure any other character will ever be able to fill. Same goes for Mini and Dagann though neither of them were role-played ever.
On a side note, Mini and Dagann here you will be seeing much more of soon as they are the main characters to my next youtube series venture: A Nonglass Menagerie. This was more of an experiment with them to see how difficult it is to animate them fully. Not to bad but I think for the actual full animations Ill be chibi-fying them a bit more.

This took an ungodly amount of time to process! I havent uploaded anything in awhile so I figured Id upload this since I recorded it a couple of days ago while doing tween and motion frames for MtfoxX3s Nilili Mabo silhouette MAP. Ive been jumping between this and the Beware The Dog MAP for Shadowlabs but Ive made more noticeable progress on this one. I have to say I am having a lot of fun with Tom in this. Animating a character as up beat as him is a lot of fun and he has a long list of movements I dont normally mess with to much. That barrel role took awhile to figure out though with his wings. Now if I can just get people to stop picking at him.

Preview for an uploading MAP part Im doing for colacatinthehat featuring MapleSpyder and her Houndoom. ^^
Unfortunately this isnt one long clean sessions as I would have like it to be as I discovered an entire section was rendered completely useless to do an inexplicable flashing my Photoshop has started doing. And Id rather not risk causing someone an epileptic episode thanks to my faulty programming.
Anyway super pumped for this MAP, Ive been trying to hammer out al the rough animation this week since Ill be house sitting for the next two weeks so I also wanted to post something before then end of the month. Anyway highly recommend you check out both the MAP and the completed parts so far as its not only a really cool concept but the parts so far look absolutely fantastic! ^^
