Kitchen fires are dangerous. Especially when they're in a doll house...and when they're started intentionally. Watch how fast it spreads through the whole house. We head a strong wind blowing toward the front of the house, which is why the fire never seems to come out the front windows. Actual burn time was approximately 12 minutes. And unlike the last doll house we burned down 20 years ago, we had cameras at the ready for this one.

We built this house specifically to burn it, so this isn't some poor old granny's love, hard work and sacrifice going up in flames. We did a pretty shoddy job, too, which becomes apparent if you look too closely at it.

Garden hoses and fire extinguishers were at the ready in case things got out of control. Everybody involved was kept back to a safe distance during the entire burning. Except for me, that is...at one point, the fire got so hot that I had to move one of the cameras.
