🧽 Wash your car at a commercial facility instead of in your driveway as to not push harmful metals and chemicals into our waterways.
🌱 Follow manufacturer's recommendations when applying fertilizer. Over-application can equate to excess algae growth in lakes and streams.
🍂 Compost and bag leaves and other lawn waste. This prevents flooding caused by clogged storm drains and reduces the amount of phosphorus in urban storm water.
🐕 Always clean up after pets. Dog waste can wash into waterways and add dangerous disease and other health-problem causing pollutants.
