In this video, I will teach you how to do a foundation single crochet, instead of a chain to start a pattern. Keep in mind that this can only be used if the first row of the pattern is all single crochet. If you have to skip chains, or do multiple stitches into a chain, this will not work, and you will need to do a chain to start your pattern. This may be abbreviated in a pattern as fdn sc, or fsc.
