"Found"
And when I look back, I guess its all down to perspective
Like how the stars in the night sky aren't quite the same depending on where you live
And maybe in this life I wanted somebody to share it with
And as I mentioned before, I had a couple demons, a couple feeling that I needed to check
But now I can pause, and I'm feeling my breath
Cause what matters is I'm alive
I feel the same pain, same pleasure, that every human on this Earth has ever felt
And I'm grateful for that, cause for every moment I look back, there's a moment to look forward to
Cause even when the sun sets and darkness spreads
We know that, the sun will once again rise and bring light to all those beneath it
and its no secret that I'm open in the way I feel
I wear my heart on my sleeve, cut out the middle man, I've got nothing to reveal
And maybe something has to die to make place for something new
So despite all the times I spent in the summer, or even before that
I need to realise that, nostalgia is one hell of a drug
And nowadays I get plenty of love, whether that's from my friends, my family, or even myself
So, truth be told, despite this crazy world that we live in, I'm happy
And yes, maybe I wish a couple things could've gone different
But who truly knows where I'd be if they did
Cause, the only place I can truly find myself is the present
So for now, that's the only place I'm gonna live
