RGB LED tube lights for video are becoming more popular, and for good reason. RGB LED tube lights are portable, powerful, and most of all, super fun to use.
In this video I'll be reviewing the Fotodiox DaoLite Prizmo Edition. There are a lot of things about this RGB LED tube light that make it worth the added cost for filmmakers over cheaper alternatives. But does that make it the best RGB LED tube light for video available?
Cheaper LED stick lights suffer from a few problems, especially lights where you can see the individual LED bulbs inside. They can produce checkered or striped shadows, unflattering reflections, and less even illumination overall.
The DaoLite fixes many of these issues, and does so with superb build quality, full RGB (plus white and tungsten) colors, and other attention to detail that make it exceptionally fun to use.
